Contract: 18‑Month Contract
Hours: 37 hours per week (7 hours per day)
Job Overview
Join a leading energy business. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an energy client based in Lincoln as an MRP Controller. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring material availability and delivery plans align with production and customer commitments.
Responsibilities
* Create, maintain, and communicate delivery plans across the supply chain.
* Assess demand changes and provide impact analysis to support planning decisions.
* Maintain accurate master and dynamic planning data within SAP.
* Manage inventory levels to ensure availability while avoiding excess stock.
* Ensure supplier delivery commitments are met and reflected in system schedules.
* Act as the primary interface with suppliers, driving performance and improvement.
* Lead supplier business reviews focusing on Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
* Manage shortages, recovery plans, and escalation of supply risks.
* Analyse supplier capacity and constraints that may impact delivery.
Qualifications
* Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics.
* Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
* Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Ability to manage supplier relationships and influence outcomes.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
