Job Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our ever-growing team, as a Photography Assistant! This role will be a vital support to our current team, and key responsibilities will be retouching through our extensive product range, as well as assisting our Photographers in the studio and on lifestyle photoshoots. There will also be opportunities to assist within our Production Team to help plan shoots, as well as go on location recces and attend photoshoots around the UK, with possible overnight stays!
What You’ll Be Doing
* Working closely with the Photographers and wider design, & marketing teams to ensure accurate and high-quality images are created.
* Assisting our in-house editor to competently edit studio and lifestyle photography to a commercial standard.
* Assist our Production Coordinator in pre-production planning of shoots and then assisting on lifestyle shoots when required.
* Liaising with other departments within the company to help with everyday tasks, including sourcing products for photoshoots, researching locations and models.
* Assisting in the production of product demonstration videos, at our in-house studio and on location
* Assisting in the upkeep of our shared image bank and keeping work constantly backed up
* This role may require travel around the UK, you must be comfortable with possible overnight stays.
* Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to Health & Safety and Quality Management
* Any other tasks deemed by the Company to be necessary for the successful completion of the role.
What We’re Looking For
Can you?
* Proficient in Photoshop and the Adobe Suite along with Capture One
* Ability to retouch and colour correct images
* Ideally a degree in Photography or a demonstrated high-level knowledge of Photography
* A full UK driver’s license
Are you?
* You will be a keen learner who is proactive, and can comfortably ask for help/support when you feel as though you need it
* A strong eye for all things creative, as well as impeccable attention to detail
* Must have a high level of knowledge of the Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop
* You will be a great team player who is confident in talking to people within the wider business, as well as models/model parents
