Alfanar Energy UK & our subsidiary Lighthouse Green Fuels are developing the largest Advanced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project in Europe, utilising first-of-it's-kind technology and attracting a £1.5billion investment package. It's a very exciting time to be joining us as our project gathers pace and the UK Government puts legislation in place to mandate SAF usage.

We're currently seeking an experienced individual to join us on a staff basis in London as a Project Manager - EPC & PMC Contracts. This is a key role for us as we finish FEED and enter EPC phase, and will be responsible for managing Alfanar Energy's activities required to tender, award and manage the main execute phase contracts for the Lighthouse Green Fuels SAF Project
Responsibilities
This role will initially be focused on the initial strategy development, contractor engagement and tendering process for PMC & EPC Contracts.
The successful candidate will be accountable for leading activities related to these processes including;
* Developing Strategies
* Drafting scopes of work
* Supporting FEED Verification and Bid clarifications
* Reviewing bid returns and resolving issues
* Preparing estimates, managing costs and schedules
* Updating the org chart and team responsibilities
* Updating the execution strategy.
* Supporting CAPEX and OPEX Cost Estimate Development
* Project Control Budget and Master Schedule
* Manages PMC / EPC and associated contracts (once awarded) to ensure they are delivered on budget and schedule and with full contract compliance
* Manage changes and claims to minimize the impact on the costs and schedule.
* Reviews Contractor invoices to ensure they accurately represent the work completed and are in accordance with the contact.
Who we're Seeking
* Degree qualified (Bachelors in Engineering (BEng) or Masters in Engineering (MEng))
* Chartered Engineer
* Minimum 15 years experience in a project or engineering management role
* Experienced leading process industry projects at all stages from FEED, detailed engineering and design, procurement, construction and Commissioning.
* Experience of complex energy / gasification / biofuels / transport decarbonization projects
* Client side and Contractor experience.
