Person specification

Essential:
* Expertisein the design and/orimplementation of economic regulation (i.e.RAB models / price controls), asdemonstratedby a proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in past positions(LEAD).
* Proven aptitude for leadership, with an ability to build effective working relationships with teams and a wide range of stakeholders that creates space for constructive, open, and transparent engagementcontributing to a culture of inclusion(LEAD).
* Develops,plansand delivers work outcomes, including clear and transparent workobjectives,milestonesand success metrics.
* Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to distil complex issues for non‑expert audiences and represent Ofgem effectively with senior and external stakeholders.

Desirable:
* Experienceworking on carbon capture and storage policy.
