Cover Teacher – Secondary

£130–£180 per day (dependent on experience)
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in St Ives who are seeking a dynamic and reliable Cover Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher or confident Cover Supervisor to gain experience across a range of year groups and subjects.
The successful candidate will step into planned lessons and deliver engaging content with confidence, maintaining behaviour expectations and ensuring continuity of learning.

1. A confident classroom presence and calm behaviour management
2. Flexibility to teach across multiple subjects (support provided)
3. Someone who enjoys variety and can build rapport quickly
4. QTS is ideal but not essential for experienced cover supervisors
