Overview
Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Aircraft Cleaner Drivers to join a well‑respected and successful client at Belfast International Airport.
Key Duties
* Clean aircraft cabins to airline and regulatory standards, including:
o Vacuuming carpets and seats.
o Cleaning and disinfecting tray tables, armrests, seatbacks, and overhead bins.
o Emptying and sanitizing lavatories and galleys.
o Removing and disposing of waste.
o Replacing seat pocket materials (e.g., safety cards, magazines).
* Restock onboard supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and catering items.
* Drive cleaning vehicles safely around the airport.
* Load and unload cleaning supplies and equipment from vehicles.
* Follow all airport and airline safety procedures, including wearing PPE.
* Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding schedules and assignments.
* Work in all weather conditions and be prepared for variable shift times.
Shift Pattern
* 4 on 4 off, 22:00–06:00 or 22:00–04:00 nights.
* Shift timing varies; airport operates 365 days a year.
Start Dates
* 15th June 2026.
What’s on offer
* Rate of pay: £12.94 per hour.
* Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off.
* Shift timing: Night Shift – 22:00 to 06:00 or 22:00 to 04:00.
* Weekly pay on Friday.
* Temporary to permanent (performance‑based). Free staff car parking.
Requirements
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
* Valid UK Driving Licence.
* Must have continuously resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
* Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties.
* Proof of National Insurance.
* Proof of current address; 5‑year address history.
* Successful candidates must complete an Access NI after interview in line with CAA requirements.
* Must be able to provide a 5‑year checkable history.
* Previous airport and/or cleaning experience beneficial.
* Ability to work well in a team, excellent communication and interpretation skills, great work ethic.
