21st May, 2026 Since starting business in 1962, Davin Industries has earned an enviable reputation as an industry leader in precision sheetmetal fabrication and contract batch manufacturing. Davin Industries are now looking for a proactive and hands-on Quality Systems/Control Manager to join their team. About the role This is not a desk-based management role — we need someone who enjoys being out on the factory floor, working alongside production teams, and driving quality improvements that make a real difference. You will take ownership of the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring systems and processes are practical, effective, and consistently applied across the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing or engineering background, potentially with a trade qualification, and a genuine passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO standards and company requirements Work closely with production and operational teams to embed quality processes throughout the business Conduct and manage internal and external audits, ensuring ongoing compliance Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventative actions Develop and maintain clear, practical, and user-friendly quality documentation Monitor and analyze quality performance data, providing actionable insights and solutions Support and coach staff to build understanding, accountability, and ownership of quality systems Investigate quality issues and work collaboratively to drive long-term improvements Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the organization About You Proven experience in a Quality Systems Manager or similar quality-focused role within manufacturing or engineering Strong understanding of ISO standards and quality management frameworks Hands-on, practical approach with the ability to engage confidently on the factory floor Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives Relevant qualifications in engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related field are preferred What's on Offer Opportunity to play a key role within a growing manufacturing business Supportive and collaborative team environment Long-term career development opportunities Competitive salary package based on experience 40 Hours per week, 7:30am-4pm If you're someone who enjoys improving systems, working closely with people, and making a measurable impact, we'd love to hear from you.
