Job summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Fellow (ST1-2 equivalent) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our dynamic team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Main duties of the job The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care across both Obstetrics and Gynaecology services. This includes working on the labour ward with appropriate senior support, managing Obstetric and Gynaecological inpatients, and supporting acute and emergency services. You will attend outpatient clinics across a range of subspecialties and participate in elective and emergency theatre activity, developing both clinical and surgical skills. The role also includes involvement in the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and the Gynaecology Emergency Service, providing valuable experience in acute and ambulatory care settings. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating strong communication, organisational, and clinical decision-making skills.
