Veterinary Surgeon – Kidderminster
Join a proudly independent, family run practice with prestigious accreditations, including Gold ISFM cat friendly status, Silver RWAF rabbit friendly status, and fear free certification, ensuring excellence in patient care. The practice operates from purpose-built premises with state-of-the-art facilities including digital and dental x-rays, high-quality ultrasound with Doppler, in-house lab, endoscope, Tonovet pen, and laser therapy.
You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team with dedicated mentoring and opportunities to develop your skills or explore areas of special interest. Enjoy a structured workday with designated operating time, a varied caseload, no routine OOH, and a competitive salary of £35,000–£70,000 DOE per annum plus a generous benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality patient care with a varied caseload including consulting, surgery, medical cases, and inpatient care as part of a collaborative clinical team.
* Work with a dedicated mentor as you settle in, with encouragement to develop skills and pursue areas of interest. Be supported to take on new challenges and to grow within a community-focused environment.
* Have a structured day with designated operating time; no routine out-of-hours (OOH) unless emergency care is arranged.
* Contribute to a friendly, independent, family-run practice with strong admin and reception support to keep operations running smoothly.
The Rota
* Full time position
* 4 days per week
* 1 early finish each week
* 1:4 Saturday mornings 9am-12:30pm
