This role will contribute to ensure that our UKI product offeringsremaincustomer centric, differentiated, and competitive, whilst delivering fair value and good customer outcomes.
Howyou’llhelp us make health happen:
1. carry-out fair value assessments, regular product monitoring and governance, and product reviews.
2. Define and manage plans to address areas of underperformance and/ or fair value issues.
3. supportthe review and evolution of the product Terms & Conditions
4. be the product expert in the review of customer facing and internal documentation and for internal and external enquiries.
5. interpretmarket, customer, and competitive information, and understand the internal context to help create a future product pipeline.
6. supportthe definition of the product strategy, projects of various nature and broker tenders.
7. support risk and incident management
8. depending on the available capacity, support or manage the introduction of product enhancements and new products.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
9. Product management experience, ideally within the Private Medical Insurance industry or alternatively within the General Insurance industry or the Financial Services industry
10. Ideally good knowledge of Bupa’s funding products and the relative customer journeys
11. Experience in managing or supporting fair value assessments and product reviews.
12. Experience in the definition and management of product improvement plans
13. Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with emphasis in achieving results and successful outcomes.
14. Expected tosolicitopinion andexpertisefrom across the organisation and at the same time be prepared to share own experience and knowledge, in a teamwork context.
15. Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret commercial data/ MI, market trends, customer needs, competitor activity and make recommendations.
16. Ability to produce compelling power point packs and reports.
