Responsibilities
of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Developing the Options Sales strategic objectives and growth strategies.
2. Provides expert knowledge of market data, economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards at all times to assist in client service. Position develops and maintains contacts with market participants
3. Help produce relevant options marketmentary, content and trade ideas
4. Build interest in the Canadian and US options market domestically and internationally
5. Educate our potential client base including asset and portfolio managers about the benefits of options trading
6. Work closely with trading on marketing strategy, opportunistic sales to enhance trading revenue
7. Maintain relationships with portfolio managers as well as option execution teams
8. Optimize existing client relationships as well as pursue new clients
9. Collaborate across the dealer in identifying and pursuing potential clients, that includes working with the Cash Equities, GED Structured Products, ETF and Delta One teams, among others.
10. Observes strict adherence personally and at a desk level to the firm's procedures
11. Understands and willply with TD Securities Policies, regulatory andpliance requirements
12. Demonstrateernance, control and risk management behaviours in alignment with TD policies and practices
Education & Experience
13. Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
14. Extensive related applicable industry experience
15. Must be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills
16. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities
17. Proficient in interpersonalmunication (both oral and written), and have the ability tomunicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
18. Successful candidate will have toplete as needed various regulatory registration courses such as CSC, CPH, Trader Training Course, Derivative Fundamentals, Options Licensing Course.
