Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Rotherham (S65, S66) Pay rate: £ 460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Step into the classroom with confidence and support students to stay focused, engaged, and on track with their learning. GSL Education are seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Rotherham, covering the S65 and S66 areas. In this role, the Cover Supervisor (CS) will oversee pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure a calm learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. Main Responsibilities: Supervise classes using the work provided by teaching staff. Maintain positive behaviour and a productive classroom atmosphere. Provide clear instructions and support students with their tasks. Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour. Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times. Requirements: Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting as Cover Supervisor. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Confidence to lead a classroom independently. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
