This post is responsible for providing personal care and support to service users and to support care staff to meet the needs of older people in a residential care setting as required by legislation.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure.
In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, candidates should be able to provide evidence of a good basic education, good written communication and report writing skills.
Applicants should have experience in working with people in a care setting. Ability to undertake SVQ 2 and any relevant training. For more details please refer to the Job Description.
