Overview of the Role
The Company requires a driven individual who wants to develop their skills and career within a Machine Shop environment. The post-holder will have a proven track record in a similar role, working on high end, technology-based projects within an engineering environment.
This will be an active role focused on ensuring that products are manufactured to the correct quality standards using various machining activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for programming, setting and running CNC machines (Mazak Lathes, XYZ Lathes with Siemens Control, XYZ milling machines with Siemens controls and Fanuc based mills and lathes) for production and development work.
* Ability to improve to an already effective production strategy and to make themselves aware of the product quality, departmental objectives and health and safety requirements.
* Maintain an environment of continuous improvement and working practices.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
* At least five years’ experience of CNC Programming/Setting.
* Duckboard programming experience.
* Considerable experience in using all forms of manual inspection equipment.
* Knowledge of Quality Control based around ISO 9001.
* High levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
* Capable of working well in a team environment.
* A positive attitude and co-operative, willing to comply with company policies and procedures.
* A minimum GCSE pass grade for English and Maths or equivalent qualification.
* Eligible to work permanently and live in travelling distance of Keighley.
Desirable:
* Experience of scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
* Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

The post-holder will be based at MSS International Ltd in Keighley. They will be eligible for 25 days paid annual leave per annum plus bank holidays
