Job Title: Computer Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4) • Contract Type: Full-Time • Start Date: Immediate • Working Days: Monday to Friday
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join our dedicated team, starting immediately. This is a full-time role teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). The ideal candidate will have a passion for Computer Science, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Computer Science at KS3 and KS4.
* Plan and prepare lessons, including the creation of resources tailored to student needs.
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to support academic growth.
* Contribute to the development of the department and wider school community.
* Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and supported.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
* A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4.
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with GCSE Computer Science curriculum.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of tech innovators.
Desirable
* Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or C++).
* Familiarity with current tech trends and online learning tools.
