Vision for Education are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for supply roles in and around the King's Lynn area. We have role starting ASAP and also from September 2026. These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings in and around King's Lynn and the surrounding areas. You will work with pupils who have special educational needs, supporting their learning and well-being in a range of classroom environments. Responsibilities of a an SEND Teaching Assistant: Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment Support pupils with personal care needs where required Encourage independence and social interaction among pupils Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with staff Requirements for the role: Previous experience working with children with SEND (school or care setting) Knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, or other special educational needs Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations Strong communication and teamwork skills A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Ability to provide two references to support recent employment Ability to drive and access to a car is essential for this role Salary is dependant on experience, training and/or qualifications.
