About Us
Elm Hayes Surgery is a semi-rural practice based in Paulton near Bath. We serve 9100 patients and have a team of 4 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, Nursing Team, Admin Support, Clinical Pharmacists and our own in house Dispensary.
Main Duties
· To improve care for our patients by developing and implementing safe, effective and efficient systems for repeat prescribing, medicines optimization, reducing medicines waste and other prescribing practice under the supervision of our Clinical Pharmacist Team.
· You will need to be qualified Pharmacy Technician and hold professional registration with the GPHC.
· You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to work with Pharmacists, GPs and administrative staff.
· You will need an appreciation of the nature of primary care prescribing, and the ability to review and improve prescribing practice.
· You should be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative with the ability to prioritise workload and exercise good time management skills.
Successful candidates will be enrolled on the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) Primary Care Education pathway.
