Milk Education are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant – Newham to work within a welcoming and inclusive primary school. The SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant – Newham role involves working closely with pupils who have a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH, providing tailored support on a 1:1 and small-group basis. This role offers valuable Education and Training exposure within a supportive primary school environment.
You will be joining a primary school in Newham that places strong emphasis on inclusion, early intervention, and positive behaviour support. The school provides excellent Education and Training opportunities and works closely with external professionals to ensure pupils receive the support they need to succeed. Milk Education will support you throughout your placement with ongoing guidance and high-quality Education and Training.
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
1. Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis
2. Assisting with learning activities across the primary curriculum
3. Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
4. Working closely with teachers and the SENCo to meet pupil needs
Ideal Candidate:
