An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Manufacturing Accountant to join a dynamic Manufacturing Finance team based at a busy Produce site. This hands-on, commercially focused role plays a crucial part in supporting site leadership and driving financial insight to influence strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
* Business partner the site leadership team to support key commercial decisions
* Provide financial analysis and variance reporting to improve operational performance
* Implement cost control initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities
* Support preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly site accounts
* Lead the costing of site products for new customer proposals
* Collaborate with sourcing teams to enhance margin and buying efficiency
* Monitor inventory and ensure accuracy of valuation
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Deliver financial insights to support production and operations teams
* Contribute to growth initiatives across the wider Manufacturing Finance team
About You:
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a manufacturing finance environment
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence operational decisions
* Proactive and analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving setting
