Are you an experienced Welder, from a sheet metal background looking for a new role? We are working with our Manufacturing client to support them in their search as they offer this position on a temp to perm basis. Great working environment and compressed hours working a 4 day week, Monday to Thursday. Hours of Work : Dayshift ( 4 day week 38 hours ) Mon to Wed: 0630 to 1700 and Thurs: 0630 to 1500 Pay Rate: £27666 - £31616 per annum with overtime available Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for the following. Responsibilities Include Execute MIG and TIG welding on various sheet metal projects. Interpret and follow detailed blueprints and welding instructions. Conduct quality checks on welded joints to ensure compliance with standards. Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues. Maintain and calibrate welding equipment. Work collaboratively with engineers and other team members. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations. Utilise advanced laser welding techniques to achieve precise welds (Advantageous) Person Specification Extensive experience in MIG & TIG welding. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Welding certification or equivalent experience. Commitment to safety and quality.
