About the role
Having begun the makeup revolution in the UK in 2013 with record-breaking launches across, Selfridges and Net-A-Porter, our revolutionary brand has seen double-digit growth every year and expanded globally. As we continue our global growth, we are building increased infrastructure across all areas of the supply chain.
The Launch Manager enables the interactions between Supply Chain, NPD and all our suppliers and customers by ensuring consistent launches of New Products and managing the end-to-end Supply Chain .
We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail, strong administrative skills and real service mindset when it comes to supporting our internal & external stakeholders .
Who you will work with
Reporting into the Global Head of Supply Planning
As a NPD Launch Planner you will
1. Main point of contact for internal and external on all launch related issues;
2. Sole focus on launch will reduce chasing and escalations – One point of contact
3. Size the launch in FM - reflecting Launch Pipe qts & 15M horizon (18M); current procurement assumptions done manually;
4. Oversee/follow up NPD critical path & retro-planning (from procurement to delivery into the regions);
5. Map out critical path for each project & anticipate risks beforehand;
6. Pre-empt any risks and ensure resolution as quickly as possible;
7. Implement & Report Launch KPIs (Regional service level - on time and in Full);
8. Responsible for NPD reporting & communication of risks to key stakeholders and wider business;
9. Lead and oversee projects such as Holiday & New Set offering; Loyalty; Nordstrom anniversary, ensuring the teams are briefed in advance and actions are clear to follow through;
10. Stock distribution and allocations to the regions;
11. Work with master data and implement new code creation flow (take into account SLAs; month priorities)
12. Responsible for product life cycle (and catalogue clean up – OS; LTD; ONGOING; RENOVATIONS);
13. Report Obsoletes & Excess stock and work with commercial teams/or regions on action plan to clear excess stock;
14. Liaise with the regional teams on all launch related queries ( increases, anticipations to meet regional needs)
15. Handover to SP from launch onwards
16. Crisis Management – update business on deadlines and maintain confidence
About you
17. Proven experience in supply chain or product launch management, ideally within a fast-paced, global FMCG or beauty brand environment.
18. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
19. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of liaising effectively across internal teams and external partners.
20. Demonstrated ability to map and manage critical paths, anticipate risks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure timely delivery.
21. Advanced proficiency in Excel and data handling, including forecasting, sizing launches, and managing master data and product codes.
22. Experience in reporting KPIs and communicating launch risks, with a service-oriented mindset and confidence in crisis management.
23. Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, such as seasonal campaigns, loyalty programs, and retail-specific launches, ensuring clear action plans and alignment.
