Role Overview:
As a Composite Designer, you will contribute to designing composite components and tooling, encouraging innovative thinking and collaboration for shared success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop layouts and schemes for composite assemblies ensuring optimal design and functionality.
* Create detailed CAD models and drawings of composite components and tooling.
* Prepare manufacturing information, including materials, techniques, and quality standards.
* Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure design specifications are effectively implemented.
* Guide and supervise Graduate Designers to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
Requirements:
* Experience in Formula 1 or top-tier motorsport is essential.
* Proven experience in composite design, including bodywork, wings, bumpers, and interior components within motorsport.
* Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
* Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA 3DX.
* Knowledge of composite materials, their properties, and manufacturing processes.
* Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency (MS Office).
* Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently in a high-pressure environment.
