Are you a qualified tradesperson with domestic experience in multiple trades? Worthing Homes are looking to recruit an experienced tradesperson to join our property services team to help deliver our Kitchen and Bathroom programme.
Worthing Homes is a forward-looking housing association dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality homes and services to our local communities. We're a small but dynamic organisation, managing 4,000 homes serving over 10,000 residents across our range of properties from social housing to sheltered accommodation to shared ownership properties. Our work is driven by a shared passion for supporting our local communities and making a positive impact on our customers' lives.
About the Role
As a Multiskilled Operative, you will carry out all aspects of kitchen and bathroom installation and refurbishment, (excluding electrical and gas works) alongside associated plumbing and carpentry repairs. You will also support work within empty homes and assist with planned refurbishment projects as required, ensuring all jobs are completed within agreed timescales, budgets, and safety standards.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a high standard of finish, manages their time effectively, and maintains accurate records of materials and van stock. You will work considerately in customers' homes by keeping them informed, leaving properties clean and tidy, and always operating in line with Health and Safety regulations.
About You
We are looking for a skilled and reliable tradesperson with proven post-qualification experience in the installation and refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms within domestic properties. You will have a strong understanding of general health and safety requirements and be confident working independently with minimal supervision. The ability to trace, diagnose, and rectify faults is essential, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to our customers by helping us provide safe, comfortable, and well-maintained homes.
