Environmental Enforcement Officer – Harrow (HA3) £14.80 per hour | 37.5 hours | Temporary Contract | Weekend Flexibility | Agency‑employed on behalf of Kingdom, with future transfer potential to a Kingdom contract About the Role We are seeking a motivated and community‑focused Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team in Harrow. You will work on behalf of Kingdom, a leading provider of environmental protection services to Local Authorities, tackling issues such as littering, fly‑tipping, business waste compliance, anti‑social behaviour and pollution. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cleaner streets, safer neighbourhoods and protecting the environment. As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a vital part in reducing environmental crime, improving public spaces and supporting residents across Harrow. What You’ll Be Doing Investigations — Tackle illegal dumping, abandoned vehicles and unlawful waste disposal. Gather evidence, interview witnesses and prepare case files. Environmental Law Enforcement — Enforce by‑laws on littering, fly‑tipping, graffiti, waste management and noise pollution. Issuing FPNs — Issue Fixed Penalty Notices, warnings and legal documents, including follow‑up visits. Reporting — Submit findings to senior management and work with legal teams to support prosecutions. Surveillance — Use cameras and monitoring equipment to capture evidence of environmental offences. Patrolling — Monitor public areas, respond to reports and ensure compliance. Public Engagement — Educate residents and businesses on environmental responsibilities. Court Support — Prepare evidence bundles and attend court when required.
