Your Role
and What You'll Be Doing
We are looking for a Commercial Delivery Manager to take ownership of commercial performance, operational improvement and strategic delivery across a designated department within our Business Services Group.
Working closely with Partners, Department Heads, and the Head of Business Performance, you will identify under‑performance, understand root causes, and drive the roadmap for improvement. This role is not just about delivering solutions — it’s about spotting opportunities, influencing stakeholders and shaping the future direction of the business.
About You
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
1. Monitor and analyse departmental performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities across financial, operational and resource metrics.
2. Deep dive into commercial challenges — for example, low margins — to understand root causes and recommend remedies.
3. Develop improvement roadmaps to enhance financial performance, operational delivery, onboarding, margins and overall business efficiency.
4. Lead operational performance delivery by identifying gaps in KPIs/SLA achievement and driving corrective action.
5. Build strong, trusted relationships with Partner‑level stakeholders and cross‑functional teams (HR, Finance, Data, BD&M, Resource Planning).
6. Influence stakeholders across the business to adopt changes, improve processes and support delivery of strategic priorities.
7. Support the development of departmental resource plans, budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Use data‑led insights to drive decision‑making, commercial planning and continuous improvement across your portfolio.
Your work will directly impact:
9. Financial performance – including margins, resource utilisation and department profitability.
10. Operational efficiency – identifying and removing blockers that impact legal teams.
11. Commercial effectiveness – improving pricing strategies, profitability and financial forecasting.
12. Department performance – shaping better ways of working, governance and planning.
