Responsibilities
include:
1. Ensure the team's adherence to payment processing deadlines and quality control
2. Oversee our regulatory tax reporting across a suite of different regulatory returns
3. Perform oversight andpliance activity relating to the work of the team covered by the Client Money Regulations (CASS Rules)
4. Assist andplete work relating to Internal Audits and anypliance Monitoring queries, while also working with external Audit partners to ensure delivery of Aegon's statutory and CASS audits.
5. Oversee the preparation of platform tax reporting data and ensure successful delivery to HMRC.
6. Ensure all controls are operating effectively and evidence retained to mitigate exposures and that all processes adhere to SOX principles. Highlight areas of weakness and act where appropriate.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
7. Strong people management skills, with a track record of managing teams
8. Can demonstrate a track record of being adaptable and responsible to changing priorities.
9. Knowledge of Client Money Assets Sourcebook (CASS) rules and regulations.
10. Knowledge of the banking industry and in particular payment practices.
11. Basic PAYE and tax reporting knowledge desirable, but not essential.
12. Strong oral & writtenmunication, which is clear, tailored and suited to audience.
