Project Manager – Intelligent Infrastructure (Operations & Safety)
WSP is looking for a Project Manager to join our industry‑leading Operations & Safety team within Intelligent Infrastructure. The role focuses on providing technical professional services to transport clients throughout the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery of project management services and lead projects on time, to required quality and within budget, including primary client interface.
* Manage project budgets and finances, including invoicing, cash collection and forecasting on Oracle ERP system.
* Ensure delivery of client outcomes while meeting utilisation targets, including corrective action and performance reviews with the Project Director.
* Establish and maintain good working relationships and communication with clients, stakeholders, colleagues, project teams and internal staff at all levels.
* Deliver reports, presentations, project documentation and project management documentation including status reports, quality management plans and other financial control documents.
* Direct the development and deployment of appropriate project control and management methodologies to support both proposals and project delivery.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate Degree or relevant experience.
* Awareness of Project Management methodologies and relevant experience at various stages of the project lifecycle, to achieve successful delivery.
* Relevant Project Management qualification (e.g., APMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, ITIL Foundation).
* Experience managing finances, especially on Oracle or similar ERP systems.
* Ability to lead and mentor other project team members.
* Ability to multi‑task and meet various project deadlines.
