The Opportunity:
By embodying our core purpose of Customer Obsession, Embracing New Ideas, and Driving Excellence, the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Revenue Cycle plays a critical leadership role in redefining what's possible for healthcare providers and the patients they serve. This role ensures that every client interaction, operational outcome, and associate experience reflects our commitment to innovation, accountability, and measurable results.
The AVP, Revenue Cycle is a senior leader responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of day-to-day revenue cycle operations across assigned clients, while serving as a trusted advisor to client executives and an influential leader within Ensemble Health Partners. This is a remote position, requiring strong executive presence, operational command, and the ability to lead and influence distributed teams across on-site and centralized environments.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Client Partnership
* Define and establish the strategic direction, priorities, and performance expectations for assigned client revenue cycle operations.
* Serve as a senior, client-facing leader, presenting key performance insights, influencing strategic decisions, and strengthening long-term partnerships.
* Conduct comprehensive client performance analyses and deliver actionable recommendations requiring complex, cross-functional, and innovative thinking.
* Create and maintain integrated, multi-year operational roadmaps with clearly defined objectives, outcomes, timelines, and measurable success metrics.
* Lead and participate in program-level and executive governance meetings with internal and client stakeholders.
Operational Excellence & Revenue Optimization
* Oversee on-site and centralized revenue cycle operations, ensuring sustained improvements in cash flow, AR aging, denial management, self-pay collections, and point-of-service performance.
* Monitor and proactively address risks related to registration, eligibility, authorization, HIM, case management, and cash posting workflows.
* Ensure performance consistently meets or exceeds Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
* Provide standardized weekly and monthly reporting to client leadership, translating performance data into meaningful insights and actions.
People Leadership & Talent Development
* Provide direct leadership and accountability for Revenue Cycle On-Site Directors and onsite leadership teams.
* Drive performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and growth planning for all direct reports.
* Foster a culture of engagement, ownership, and continuous learning that reflects Ensemble's leadership expectations and values.
* Lead onboarding and transition planning for new leaders and proactively plan coverage strategies to eliminate operational disruption.
Innovation, Growth & Enterprise Contribution
* Influence and lead change across key revenue cycle functions by introducing new ideas, tools, and operating models.
* Partner with sales and growth teams to support client expansions, renewals, and new business opportunities.
* Share best practices and operational insights across clients and internal teams to elevate enterprise-wide performance.
* Represent Ensemble in enterprise forums, client conference calls, and executive updates, highlighting successes, risks, and innovation opportunities.

Qualifications
* Proven senior leadership experience in Revenue Cycle Management within complex healthcare environments.
* Extensive experience leading distributed, on-site, and centralized operational teams.
* Strong financial, analytical, and operational acumen with a demonstrated ability to deliver sustainable results.
* Required: Legally required licenses or certifications (if applicable).
* Preferred: Ensemble-approved or revenue cycle–related certification (e.g., CRCR) or equivalent.
