Job Description
The Bookkeeper duties will include:
* Accurately record and manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable in both Sterling and Euros.
* Prepare and maintain financial reports and ledgers.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
* Assist the leadership team in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
* Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
* Manage the accounts assistant supporting with their personal development
* Respond promptly to financial queries and provide accurate information as needed.
* Adhoc duties as and when necessary
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
* A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the Engineering industry.
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* The ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
* A solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
