Job description: Aristocrat has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Communications Director, EMEA to join its new EMEA Communications team within the Global Communications & Brand team within Corporate Affairs. Reporting to the VP, Communications EMEA the successful candidate will serve as a senior leader in the EMEA region and play an instrumental role in supporting and driving Aristocrats enterprise communications strategy within the EMEA region. This role will business partner the Product Madness leadership team and business to develop and deliver an integrated internal and external communications strategy that support business strategy. This person will also be responsible for bringing innovation and thought-leadership to the EMEA Communications team and ensuring Product Madness communications are effective, and best-practice in all respects.
The Corporate Communications Director, EMEA will develop a comprehensive global internal communications strategy and PR strategy to support the Product Madness business strategy and enhance its corporate reputation and brand awareness. This person will drive the execution of the Product Madness internal communications strategy and PR strategy in EMEA and support its rollout with your communications colleagues in the Americas and APAC regions. You will have strong issues management including crisis communications experience. You will help take our storytelling to the next level by creating compelling internal communications programs and PR campaigns working in close partnership with the Product Madness Leadership team, P&C team, marketing, cultivating strong relationships with media, engaging target audiences, and boosting our earned media coverage and brand awareness. The role will also ensure effective Product Madness communications channel management, including the Product Madness LinkedIn page. Required profile: Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and execute an integrated internal and external communications strategy for the Product Madness business that enhances Product Madnesss brand awareness and reputation.
Provide strategic comms advice and support to leaders, including Business Partner the Product Madness Leadership team. and be a key contributor to the Product Madness Leadership team.
Drive proactive media opportunities, including developing innovative and creative PR campaigns for new games releases and managing reactive media enquiries
Advise the C-Suite and key leaders, maintaining the strictest confidentiality while providing insights, perspective, and counsel on internal communications and Public Relations strategies and led the crisis communications and issues management efforts for Product Madness.
As part of the Communications EMEA team you will work together to build the Aristocrat Interactive CEO and Aristocrat Interactive and Product Madness leadership team platforms and profiles; help write contributed content, messages, and speeches and in the voice of executives;
Support in the preparation of market materials, Group publications and disclosures and the leveraging of same within the Product Madness business and support the VP Comms EMEA drive this across the region.
Create content and help maintain and govern social channels across Product Madness including LinkedIn, leveraging content to tell our story
What We're Looking For
Education: Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Corporate Affairs and/or Communications leadership roles, ideally in complex businesses and with international experience.
