This role is a fixed-term contract (maternity cover) for up to 8 months and based in our High Wycombe office. Job purpose Responsibility for the creation of shipping documentation Freight invoice approvals through freight audit reporting Manual freight invoice approvals Update export register with shipping credentials Maintain filing system for compliance documentation Key Tasks & Responsibilities Managing shipping inbox for pending outbound shipments Ensuring shipping documents are saved as per HMRC requirements Creating shipment invoices, packing lists & other required shipping documentation Act as contact for customer and internal queries relating to shipping or status enquiries. Maintaining and updating various existing spreadsheets Freight invoice reconciliation & approvals Freight invoice query resolution Manual Freight invoice approvals Creation and distribution of Shipping Reports Ad hoc shipping tasks supporting Shipping Team Lead Key Experience and Competencies Organised administrator with a good demonstration of prioritisation Proven track record of attention to detail Keenness to learn and carry out new tasks and develop new skills, within a multi-functional role. Sound analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation. Strong communication skills, internally and externally A high standard of computer literacy including Intermediate Excel skills Basic understanding of freight/logistics process is beneficial
