Job Description:
Scope of Role:
* Build electro-mechanical assemblies according to technical drawings, SOPs, and CMMs.
* Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Upgrade and repair electro-mechanical assemblies.
* Maintain equipment used in electronic assembly.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
* Assemble electro-mechanical components according to drawings and CMMs.
* Work with fans, motors, and heaters following specifications.
* Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment such as torque drivers, micrometers, and vernier calipers.
* Assemble parts or units, ensuring they meet quality standards, including drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, filing, lapping, buffing, and lubrication.
* Connect cables and wires as per specifications.
* Conduct tests and inspections to troubleshoot issues.
* Follow all manufacturing procedures and complete relevant documentation.
* Assist customers, suppliers, and visitors, communicating effectively at all levels.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities.
* Use PPE when provided.
* Complete tasks timely to meet manufacturing targets.
* Perform ad hoc duties, including training colleagues and supporting other departments as needed.
Other Responsibilities/Non-essential Functions
* Undertake required training as identified by the manager.
* Support other reasonable requests from management.
* Provide flexibility during staff shortages to ensure customer satisfaction.
Professional Knowledge & Experience:
* Ability to read and understand drawings, CMMs, and SOPs.
* Work from SOPs in conjunction with drawings.
* Proficient in English reading and writing.
* Desirable: experience in electro-mechanical assembly, familiarity with mechanical and electrical components, attention to detail, small tooling assembly, soldering skills on small components, experience with small component assembly.
* Teamwork, methodical approach, good time management, communication skills, self-motivation, professionalism, resilience under pressure, basic IT skills.
