We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Practical Instructor in Animal Management to join our team and help shape the next generation of animal care professionals.

In this rewarding and hands-on role, you will play a key part in delivering engaging and practical sessions to students across a range of animal management courses. You will work closely with learners, supporting their progress through effective teaching, assessment, and supervision of practical work involving a diverse range of animals.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, accurate record-keeping, supporting educational visits, and maintaining discipline and motivation among students. You will also assist with the development of curriculum content, contribute to quality assurance processes, and support college marketing and recruitment events.

A teaching qualification is desirable, though support will be provided to work towards one if needed. Previous industry experience, experience delivering animal-related curriculum units, and the ability to manage behaviour effectively are all highly valued.

We are seeking someone with a strong knowledge of animal welfare and care practices, who is confident working with a variety of species, and who can inspire students to achieve their full potential. You should be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to adapt to the needs of different learners, while also contributing positively to team efforts and college initiatives.

If you are passionate about animal management education and want to make a real impact in a practical teaching environment, we would love to hear from you.
