Are you passionate about connecting young minds with history? Do you thrive on creating campaigns that inspire learning and exploration?
We are the independent charity that cares for six of the most extraordinary palaces in the world. Our mission is to make their stories a living resource for everyone, wherever they are. As part of our new strategy – Reach Further, Mean More, Act for the Future – we’re on a bold journey to reach every school in the UK, inspiring pupils with history that feels alive and relevant.
From immersive study days in Tudor kitchens to touring school shows and digital resources that travel into classrooms nationwide, we’re determined to make unforgettable learning experiences accessible to all.
We’re now looking for a Marketing Officer to lead our schools marketing programme. You’ll develop and deliver strategy and campaigns to promote school visits, digital resources and outreach programmes, driving engagement with teachers and pupils across the UK.
The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery: campaign planning, content creation, media planning, analysis and reporting. You’ll manage budgets, brief agencies, and work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure our schools offer reaches its full potential.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in full‑funnel marketing, content planning and analytics
* Knowledge of the education sector and how to engage educators
* Strong campaign management skills across digital, social and traditional channels
* Ability to balance strategic leadership with practical execution
So if you’d like to join us in helping bring history to life for the next generation, we’d love to hear from you.
Benefits Include
* Hybrid working
* Enhanced holiday entitlement
* Generous Employers Pension Contributions (up to 11%)
* Annual Pay reviews & Bonuses
* Critical Illness Cover & Life Assurance
* Family‑friendly policies and benefits
* Staff discounts and membership to all palaces
You will have hands‑on, relevant marketing experience and a demonstrable passion for marketing, as well as an interest in history or the arts. You will also be creative, highly analytical and have excellent attention to detail. You will be experienced at coordinating multiple projects, whilst working under pressure to time and budget constraints.
Closing date: 7th December 2025, 11:55pm.
