Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed and sanitised to the highest standards. This position is essential for supporting our chefs and kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
* Wash and sanitise dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
* Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and cooking equipment.
* Assist with food preparation as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
* Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management.
* Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Support other kitchen roles as required, contributing to a harmonious team environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving others in the hospitality industry.
