Asset Care Engineering Technician
Location: Manchester
Type: Permanent contract
Hours: 40 hours per week: Monday - Friday; 7AM - 3PM

We now have an opening for an Asset Care Engineering Technician in Manchester Dairy, offering career development pathways from Technician to Multi-Skilled Engineer.
The role involves working in the Filling/Workshop area, performing asset care tasks, refurbishment activities, greasing, and equipment checks.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure effective shift handover of information
* Perform planned preventative maintenance on equipment such as sleever, filters, panels, and more
* Maintain rotational spares, modules, rails, units, chucks, actuators, and follow CIL schedules
* Set up and maintain standard operating conditions
* Maintain trolley packer equipment
* Identify and report machinery defects or failure symptoms
* Service, adjust, and repair machinery safely and properly
* Use CMMS system accurately for recording and analysis
* Support site roadmaps for quality, health & safety, EMS, and autonomous maintenance
* Participate in improvement activities within facilities and engineering areas
* Understand how actions impact site/business goals
* Experience in FMCG or engineering workshop environment beneficial
* Asset care and condition monitoring experience advantageous
* Knowledge of LOTO procedures and PC literacy beneficial
