Role Summary
We are seeking lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels within the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to deliver classes on weekdays, evenings, and weekends is required.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met.
* Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate.
* Use a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials.
* Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
* Stay current with latest developments in the field and student support practices.
* Work toward clear objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.
About You
* Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
* Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in this subject area.
* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the subject matter.
* Have experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
* Maintain accurate reporting and keep thorough, organised student records.
* Work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
* Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Work with diverse groups of people.
Desirable
* Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification; alternatively, a commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years, or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
* Have experience designing or developing academic or professional education programmes.
