Are you early in your procurement career and looking for the right environment to accelerate your development?
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join a well-established Commercial & Procurement function supporting nationally significant operations. You'll gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end sourcing while working alongside experienced procurement professionals in a structured, highly regulated environment.
If you have a solid grounding in procurement and are ready to step into a role where you can build real commercial capability with clear progression towards Sourcing Manager level this role offers an excellent next move.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting and delivering end-to-end sourcing activities from requirement through to contract award.
* Assisting with tender documentation, evaluations, and supplier negotiations.
* Working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide commercial support.
* Helping implement category strategies and maintain sourcing pipelines.
* Ensuring all procurement activity aligns with Procurement Act 2023 and internal governance.
* Supporting supplier performance management and contract variations.
* Identifying opportunities to drive value, efficiency, and process improvement.
What We're Looking For:
* Early-career procurement professional with foundational sourcing experience.
* Understanding of public sector procurement principles (or strong desire to develop in this space).
* Exposure to tender processes and commercial negotiations.
* Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
* Confident communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally.
* Proactive, organised, and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.
* Degree in Business, Economics or similar — or equivalent commercial experience.
* CIPS (or working towards) advantageous but not essential.
