Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
* Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and service.
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Develop new menu items and specials, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
* Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as necessary.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the restaurant industry.
* Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on fostering a positive team environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
