Responsibilities
* Provide visible, professional leadership to staff, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care.
* Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and Glenholme Healthcare policies, ensuring the home remains inspection-ready at all times.
* Oversee clinical governance, audits, risk assessments, and care planning.
* Promote a strong culture of learning and professional development across the team.
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the wider community.
* Ensure the activities and wellbeing programme supports residents' physical, social, and emotional needs.
* Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively, balancing quality with operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with a current, active NMC PIN.
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager of a nursing home.
* Demonstrable experience as a senior leader in a nursing home environment.
* In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and governance requirements.
* Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
* Ability to foster a person-centred, empowering environment for residents and staff.
* Evidence of improving CQC outcomes and care quality.
* Knowledge of dementia and end-of-life care best practices.
