This unique role combines People Management with Executive Assistant responsibilities — perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, family-run business.
What You’ll Do
People & Culture
* Lead HR operations and foster a high-performing, people-first culture
* Recruit, onboard, train and support team members
* Manage employee relations, payroll, performance reviews, and wellbeing initiatives
* Ensure compliance and keep policies and processes up to date
* Partner with Directors to align HR strategy with business goals
Executive Assistant to the Managing Director
* Provide proactive support to the Managing Director
* Liaise confidently with internal teams and external partners
* Coordinate key company initiatives and leadership meetings
* Anticipate needs, manage priorities, and maintain complete discretion
Requirements
* 2+ years’ experience in a HR Advisor/Manager or EA role (ideally standalone)
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law
* Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Confidence engaging at all levels – from factory floor to boardroom
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* CIPD qualified or working towards (preferred)
