Duties
* Assist the Head Chef in planning and developing menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences.
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and adherence to recipes.
* Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas.
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
* Lead by example in fostering a positive, organised, and professional work environment.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality setting.
* Extensive food production knowledge with expertise in food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse staff members.

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
* Previous restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrating leadership capabilities.
* Proficient in serving customers courteously while maintaining high standards of service quality.
