Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, stocking, loading, unloading, box lifting, and shipping & receiving. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable with heavy lifting and has a keen eye for detail.
Duties
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
* Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
* Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stocking and organisation of goods
* Perform picking & packing duties to prepare orders for shipment
* Load & unload goods from lorries and containers ensuring accuracy in delivery and receipt
* Assist in shipping & receiving processes, verifying quantities and condition of products
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment
* Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency
Requirements
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in materials handling
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, with a focus on safety
* Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment and inventory management
* Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
* Available for both day and night shifts, including weekends if required.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
