Your new role
As Site Agent, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a £35m section of the project. Working closely with the Project Manager, you’ll take responsibility for managing site operations, coordinating resources and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing, mentoring and developing Site Engineers and Section Engineers
2. Supporting the Project Manager in planning and delivering the construction phase
3. Managing and allocating project resources efficiently
4. Preparing, reviewing and implementing work package plans and management plans
5. Monitoring subcontractors, suppliers and contractual requirements
6. Working with the planning team to ensure accurate programme data
7. Ensuring fullpliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards
8. Leading and promoting a strong safety culture across the site team
9. Chairing and attending site meetings,pleting site diaries and daily briefings
10. Supporting quality assurance, environmental management and project close‑out activities
11. Working in accordance with the Integrated Management System (IMS).
This is a hands‑on leadership role offering real influence over site performance and project oues.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will bring:
12. Previous experience as a Site Agent within the highways and/or public realm sectors, delivering structures packages
13. Strong understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
14. Experience managing a standalone site or a section of a larger project
15. Strongmunication, organisational and leadership skills
16. CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid at Work and a full UK driving licence.
