Your newpanyHays are working with a Large Public Sector Organisation based in Antrim to recruit an Administration Officer on a temporary basis.
Your new role
1. Provided high-level administrative support to Clinical Physiologists, medical staff, and consultants across multiple hospital sites.
2. Managed outpatient clinic documentation: retrieved, prepared, filed, tracked, and distributed patient notes and test results.
3. Coordinated diagnostic test appointments, ensuring accurate bookings, cancellations, and patientmunications via hospital systems
4. Handled telephone queries from patients and staff, arranging interpreters and ambulance transport when required
5. Liaised with GP surgeries, multidisciplinary teams, and external departments to share patient information securely.
6. Updated patient demographics and logged diagnostic referrals on Trust systems, supporting waiting list management.
7. Maintained departmentalpliance with ICT, email, infection control, confidentiality, and equipment policies
8. Managed iing/outgoing mail, monitored stock levels, and upheld service standards including cleanliness and fault reporting
9. Demonstrated flexibility in meeting service needs, including cross-site working and additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need to succeed4 GCSEs including Maths and English and 1 year's admin experience to include the use ofputerised systems Microsoft OfficeOR
10. 3 years’ clerical experience in an office environment to include the use ofputerised systems, Microsoft Office
11. Hold a current full UK Driving Licence
12. Goodmunication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, work as a team and on your own initiative
