Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front of House to join our Hotel operation team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. When our guest's walk into our hotel, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, smart in appearance and a strong work ethic. You will be joining our small team in a friendly working environment.
Duties
* Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly welcome.
* Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately.
* Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
* Manage phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
* Liaising effectively with other departments to address our guests' needs without delay.
* Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
* Attending breakfast shift for residential guests.
Qualifications
* Although no previous experience is required as training will be provided. However previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
* Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
* Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Proficient in using computer systems for booking and managing reservations.
* A friendly disposition with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
