Oak Tree Housing Association
Management Committee Vacancies – Voluntary Positions
We are an organisation committed to providing quality, affordable homes and supporting our communities throughout Inverclyde. Oak Tree is currently looking to add to the range of skills and experience on our Management Committee. As a Management Committee member, you will be part of a team responsible for oversight and scrutiny to ensure we maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, financial management, and overall strategic direction of the business.
Oak Tree Housing Association is a leading provider of social housing in Inverclyde. We own 1,963 homes, provide services to over 1,000 homeowners, and have an annual turnover of over £12 million. We are a registered social landlord regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator and a registered charity regulated by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.
Our vision is “Building Better Futures.” To support this vision and our focus on succession planning, we are seeking committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our Management Committee. We value commitment and experience as much as qualifications. This challenging and rewarding role offers opportunities for personal and professional development.
As a voluntary Management Committee member, you would attend Board meetings held 10 times per year, including preparation and participation either physically or remotely via Teams/Zoom. Committee members receive a comprehensive induction, training, and the option for mentorship from fellow members.
