Job Description
3. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
4. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure value for money and quality standards.
5. Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance and efficiency.
6. Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
7. Lead contract negotiations and sourcing arrangements up to £5m in value.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with organisational goals.
9. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies within the procurement process.
10. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities to senior management.
11. Lead and mentor a team to achieve procurement objectives effectively.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
12. Experience in procurement/category management within the professional services category, ideally in the financial/asset management sector.
13. A strong understanding of contract negotiation and supplier management.
14. Knowledge of procurement regulations and industry compliance standards.
