Overview

This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route. Sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds, and any role-specific criteria. This role is divided into review and treatment with two days allocated for review and three days for treatment. This is a rotational post, and the post holder will be required to travel to both Brighton and Eastbourne. The working hours are from 8 AM to 7 PM, with on-call duties and shifts. The timings may be adjusted based on service requirements. The post holder requires advanced clinical knowledge of radiotherapy procedures, tissue tolerances, and physiological reactions due to radiation exposure. The post holder provides professional radiotherapy services within all the Sussex Cancer Centre locations covering CT, on-call, calculating and treatment of cancer patients as well as liaising effectively with the multidisciplinary team. Our sites are equipped with state-of-the-art technology including Elekta Versa HD Linacs, Tomotherapy units, and Philips Widebore CT scanners. We also offer advanced HDR brachytherapy services.
