I’m working with a Chelmsford based SaaS tech business who are on the lookout for a Configuration Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.
**A quick PSA before we begin. While there are certainly some software developer-ish responsibilities associated with the role AND you’ll definitely get a chance to work with a cool tech stack this is NOT a Software Developer role**
The business launched in 2017 and has grown organically, taking their time to refine their product and build it into the market leading solution it is today. I’ve had the pleasure of working with them since 2019 and this might just be the best team I’ve ever put together (and yes…I do say this about all my clients. Don’t tell anyone though).
The role will see you working as part of the Product Delivery and Change team, collaborating and learning from Solution Consultants and Project Managers and liaising with customers as you implement applications and carry out change requests for both new and existing clients.
You’ll also apply configuration using my clients CMS tool and write scripts and functions for system customisation for individual solutions.
I don’t like lists, but from time to time they can be super useful so here’s an idea of the experience you’d benefit from having for the role.
* Knowledge of software implementation, configuration and/or support
* Excellent communication skills and comfort dealing directly with customers
* Basic programming skills in the following areas: Javascript, HTML and CSS
(knowledge of Angular, SQL and JSON would be advantageous)
* Experience of working from specification documentation to implement software
Solutions
You’ll be given full training on the solution as well as opportunities to develop your skills and gain experience in other areas of the business.
My client offer hybrid working (this role needs you in their trendy Chelmsford office 3 days per week), are paying a base salary of £35-£40,000 AND in addition to 24 days on annual leave the business have implemented a 9 day fortnight meaning you get every other Friday off (read that again 😉)
